As part of our “Inspiring Working Mums” series, Josephine Napoli shares her advice to help other working Mums.
Josephine Napoli, Chief Financial Officer.
My best advice for your career is …
Choose your life partner wisely, someone who does not have any pre-conceptions about what is a mother’s responsibility and who regards your career equally as important as theirs. Having that kind of foundation and support makes a huge difference to a woman’s career path and the confidence with which she approaches it.
My most satisfying thing about being a Mum is …
The unconditional love. The chance to raise two boys who are open minded, curious, kind and supportive of women.
My best advice for managing the juggle of work and family is …
Plan ahead – everything. Meals, holidays, Christmas shopping. The lack of spontaneity may be boring but it just takes so much stress out of the equation.
