My best advice for your career is …

Make decisions that don’t bind you for the long term.   Keep moving you can always course correct but keep moving.     Don’t be so fixed on what and where you want to be in your career.   Every day opportunities arise to people who can see them.    Be sure that your eyes are open and sometimes doing the hard or boring stuff is what the organisation needs this is okay make sure you do it and smash it out of the park.

My most satisfying thing about being a Mum is …

I get to work on the best project ever my child it is amazing how much inspiration is right in front of you.    My children are the best leaders I know and I aspire to be half of what they are.

My best advice for managing the juggle of work and family is …

Remember balance is everything and working out what are the rocks versus the pebbles.    Perspective givens you strength, context and sometimes guts to make the hard decisions don’t be afraid to use it.     Sometimes you will feel like you are just coping that is okay.   You probably are being more hard on yourself then people around you be kind to yourself.

Laughter – I see the funny side in everything.   Don’t get to worked up in the detail things change, One things is for sure everything always changes be adaptable, compartmentalise and make sure somewhere in it all you have time for you.
